Preheat the oven to 200°C. Flatten the chicken breasts with a meat mallet to an even thickness.
Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in a second, and breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan in a third.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge each breast in flour, dip in the egg, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Spoon tomato sauce over each piece, then top with slices of mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot, accompanied by pasta or a fresh salad.
